Good Morning, Everyone! 🚌 “SEA-SAW”….THEY TOOK A TOUR 🚌

🚌 While on a trip to Europe, these people that we see…
Boarded a bus and took a tour from sea to shining sea.
With many miles between them, these Seas of shining blue
Can cause a FEVER in your soul…the beauty there for you…
You stop along the beaches, you eat ’till your OBESE,
You may see a young SAILOR on a weekend’s pass release…
You make a special MOMENT and there’s pictures you will take,
Form memories to stay with you…the feelings from its wake.
A wondrous tour, you’ll ne’er forget, part of natures’ beauty,
They visited and so enjoyed the tour FROM “SEE” to “SEE“🚌

Today’s words offer up bit of a twist. MOMENT which seems to be such a common word was seen only once before in July of last year. SAILOR, making its’ 6th appearance was just seen three weeks ago, on February 7th, as SIRALO. FEVER was used in 2014, 16, and 18, and OBESE appears to be here for the first time. Quite a mix, wouldn’t you say? And the only one to cause a slight WAVE this morning was SAILOR…It had a few of the Early Birds giving it a second look…

Our cartoon today brings us to the Mediterranean. We see a tour bus, stopping along a tour route to take pictures at a scenic beachfront strip. I’m not familiar with the area at all, but there’s a chance we may be in Latvia, in the city of Jūrmala, https://tinyurl.com/y5cyebnv a spa resort. Again, there’s just a chance. Nat Geo I’m not…There’s a man climbing from the bus, seen speaking with a woman. We see another man, with two women, looking out over the barrier taking pictures. And here, in the dialogue, Jeff’s given us 2 huge hints towards our puzzles’ solution. SEA the woman at left saying..”We SAW so many things ALONG the way”, while the man is saying..”Will you LOOK…”? So much dialogue about what they SEE! And notice how David purposely avoided mentioning the word SEA in the question? So, the answer to our puzzle? They visited sites FROM “SEE” to “SEE”! Good one, David! I’m SWEPT AWAY!

Ok, eye candy…The panel is shaded in beige, and the only color is the blue of the SEA and the clothing of the three characters at front. Off in the background, mountains are visible. These mountains may dispute my guess of us being in Jūrmala…but again, let’s keep in mind that this isn’t a Geography exam…The woman at front, at left, with two ear piercings holding hoops, is wearing a dark peach top, khaki shorts, a yellow straw hat with a black band, and sports what’s CURRENTly back in style again, a blue Fanny Pack. Fashion sense took a deTOUR here. The man wears a khaki hat and shorts, with a light blue polo shirt. Both of them are wearing eyeglasses. The woman at right is clad in a purple top with a black skirt. Both women are taking pictures with their cell phones. We can see the beach below them, and Jeff’s drawn a slew of umbrellas pitched into the sand, and I’m counting five people sitting under them. Two sunbathers are seen sitting on the sand, and a couple is strolling by the waters’ edge, holding hands. Four figures are seen wading in the water. The details are amazing. Sunhats off to Jeff! But let’s back up. I’m pretty sure the man leaving the bus is Jeff. The hair, the glasses, the Poi Dog Pondering T-Shirt, the grin. But here’s where it gets a little confusing. The woman that he’s speaking with..I can’t be sure that it’s his wife Kathy. It resembles her, but her hair is straight, and Jeff usually draws her with wavy hair. But then again, we are in Europe…the water’s different….maybe no conditioner? I’m just not sure. And if it is Kathy, what is she holding in her hand? A selfie stick? A paddle of some kind? Is it not Kathy, but the TOUR GUIDE? …I’m totally at SEA with this. And unless Jeff sets us STRAIT?…I’m simply LOST AT SEE…Oh…and way off in the distance? Jeff’s adorable signature sinking SAILBOAT. Really!!! 🌟🌟🌟 I’m left wondering what’s fact and what’s fiction…the imagery is wonderful….See, I knew it was you that wrote a poem last year relating to the days’ puzzle about being back in your bachelor days and learning that it was key to keep your home neat in the pursuit of a woman …I had asked if it was you, but you didn’t reply. Now I know I was right…And I’m pretty sure I saved it, but it’s a little hard to locate without knowing the date..but I’m determined to find it…Thank you for taking the time to write..I love it!   But caught up in the FEVER of Italian food so good…
  He indulged more than normal, once back in the neighborhood.
  And now the only MOMENT when he’s not in food so deep,
  Is when he gets himself to bed…and finally falls asleep…

Good morning. For the Moment the Obese Sailor having a Fever and falling overboard still remains afloat in the ocean. Having been a sailor I was surprised that that was the word that took me the longest to get. As far as the cartoon,I did see right through those quotation marks. Hi all – Since they mentioned the seas by name, I thought that they might be going for a pun on “strait”, thinking of the Dardanelles. But that didn’t fit, and when I looked it up, I found I was confusing the Black Sea with the Baltic.
