Good Morning, Everyone!             👣 THE AGONY  OF DE..FEET 👣

🎶 There were four of us, me, your big FEET and you…From your ankles up, I’d say you sure look sweet…From there down there’s just too much FEET…Yes, your FEET’S too big…Don’t want ya ’cause ya FEET’S too big…Can’t use ya ’cause ya FEET’S too bigI really hate ya ’cause ya FEET’S too big…🎶 “Your Feet’s Too Big” – Fats Waller 1939     https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8Gt3_SjFowo

👣 I think we’re taking Barn Dance to places never seen,
We got a horse concerned about his part in a dance team…
A pig looks to ENTICE him to take it for a spin,
Like PUTTY in her hands she’ll mold him…all with that big grin.
The horse a TOFFEE color, he’ll look good on the floor,
I wonder if he’d have to check his horseshoes at the door…
Do horses dance with those things on, or change to a soft shoe?
Do pigs know how to line dance like a horse will have to do?
Will our guy learn to Do-SI-Do, will he be the big WHEEL?
Will he go to the dance and be a hoofer or a heel?
A lot of questions going ’round but it should be a treat…
To see our horse cut up a rug…and dance with TWO LEFT FEET 👣

So, it’s Friday…And the stakes got a little higher…ENTICE looked too much like Incite, and despite showing up here for the 8th time, it caused a pause. Last seen on September 28th, as ECINET, it had some crying FOAL then too. And TOFFEE? A little BRITTLE, as it made its’ MAIDEN appearance…PUTTY, a soft one, and WHEEL we just rolled with…A little challenge, but we were not deFEETed…So without STALLing around, let’s TROT over to our cartoon…

A Dance Studio. A HORSE looking to learn how to HOOF it. A PIG, in a Tutu, BACON him comfortable about his FEET. HAY, I’m just telling it like it is…NEIGH you say? Well hold the gROANS because this is the MANE attraction…Today we find ourselves at the BACON and LEGS Dance Studio, located in FILLY, run by Miss GILTa. Her client, who looks like he’s FRIESIAN in fear, is Mr ED Despair. Wanting to take his girl, RoseMAREy to a Barn Dance, he’s worried about his ability to dance. CUD he do it? The Fox TROT, the Electric RIDE, the NEIGH NEIGH? SHOAT” says GILTa…”You have nothing to worry about..Just look PASTURE TWO LEFT FEET”! And SOW he did…Good one, David…You’ve STEPped up once again!

Eye candy? I like the realism of the mirrored background showing GILTa and ED’S  reflections. And there’s the dance barre common to all Dance Studios. And the Stick that GILTa’s holding, used to help students with alignment is another touch of realism…Who knew? Realism in the midst of all this FOAL play? And seeing GILTa in a blue leotard with pink tights, shoes and tutu is just PIGturesque…But it has to be her string of Pearls..I can’t help but think… PEARLS before SWINE…and a HORSE led to…WATER you know, I can dance! So, There you have it Folks, Done! Have a great day, Everyone!…And may you DANCE like nobody’s watching! 👣🙋🏻

      • Hmm…Creative, that’s for sure. LOL! Sounds like you were just BRIDLEd with a little too much enthusiasm, and came up with a SPUR of the moment guess. No harm, no FOAL…Maybe you just needed to apply a little more HORSE sense, huh? 😉 Wishing you a good one! 🙋🏻

  1. I also saw incite first,but the c didn’t fit my two left feet solution,so I looked at the e and t
I needed instead of the c and e,and saw entice rather than my original incite.Seemed unusual to have two different valid anagram solutions.

  2. Good morning. Breezed through the first two words with slight pause at Entice and a longer stop over at Toffee. The cartoon answer was cute and I solved the answer in reverse after writing down the letters. It reminded me of my sister teaching me to dance the lindy to Pennsylvania 6-5000. Talk about two left feet!! If your from Brooklyn you have two versions of the Lindy. The regular one and then there is the Bay Ridge Lindy. Angela you pulled all stops with the song from the vault. It was good as well as your entire post. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • A little challenge, but you saw it through!, right? Good Morning, Brooklyn. Yep, I’ve heard that. The Bay Ridge Lindy. And I’ve also heard the “Outsiders” call it simply the “Brooklyn” Lindy….And did you guys back in the day know how to do it! I’ve tried for years to get it right, and I can’t hold a candle. My Mother’s husband pulled me out on the dance floor at a wedding one night…Here was a man 35 years my senior, and he literally wiped the floor with me! I was crying uncle half way through! …The Jumble just keeps on bringing back the memories, huh? https://tinyurl.com/yxswnq7d Nice to hear the one about your sister, Paul. 👠 Thanks for the Shout Out, Brooklyn, glad you enjoyed the music…Here’s 🍷 to you having a great day!

      • Loved the dance. But only did the regular lindy. My brother married a girl (still married) who came from Sunset Park area and they did the Bay Ridge Lindy.

      • I still love the dance, 💃🏻 but to do it real justice? Talk about agility! All the “swing” dances of that era were amazing, but you definitely needed rubber legs 😉 to be a true contender!💃🏻🙋🏻

  3. Chuck….They didn’t come easy. I had a hard time trying to make sense of the TOFFEE…🙋🏻

° That WHEEL started to turn as she planned to ENTICE him into trying the new TOFFEE flavored coffee, and he was PUTTY in her hands in no time…

° TOFFEE always turned him to PUTTY, and it was easy to ENTICE him when they placed the WHEEL-shaped candy dish in front of him…

° They tried to ENTICE him into repairing the white WHEEL with PUTTY, but he knew that putty should be a Taupe color, and this tube looked to be more of a TOFFEE shade…

  4. Hi all – The last word looked like EFFORT, but lack of an R showed it was TOFFEE. Then ENTICE took an extra look. Thought the answer was something about “four feet”, but the dialog and two F’s gave the answer away.

Hope no trouble makers show up to 🎵”Try and set this dance alight”🎵while he’s 🎵”cutting’ a rug, down at place called The Jug
With a girl named Linda Lou”🎵

“gROAN” indeed, Angela; that’s just what I did. For that one I’ll give you TWO HANDS. 👏👏

Have a great day and weekend, everyone!

  5. After the WHEEL on the serving cart fell off and the TOFFEE treats wound up on the carpet, the hostess didn’t think it would be a good idea to ENTICE her guests to sample same since now they looked like pieces of broken PUTTY.
