Last year we started our Puzzle Play driving down a highway crowded with cars…We were the “CAR-NATION”…HUNG UP in traffic…Today, we’re safely ensconced indoors, hanging wallpaper. We see a couple…he atop a step stool, she at his side…and they’re speaking with a confidence that’s admirable. The confidence, that is…As for the act itself? Well, they are new at it.. Hmm…I’ll just CUT to the chase…It took them awhile to…GET THE HANG OF IT! Good one, David…Easy, breezy…no HANG UPS here!
Candy? I’m HUNG UP on the wallpaper…It’s a little hard getting PASTE it…A mustard color, with a garish sort of linked design. They paid for this? Hmm…The first panel coming loose both at top and bottom. The second, just at top… The others do look better, so maybe he is becoming “A Pro“…The smoothing brush is the same color as the wallpaper. But there’s nothing jumping out at me. So, I’ll go for the Bye Candy. Where’s the Paste Brush? And if it’s the Pre-Pasted kind of wallpaper? Then where’s the water? Good morning. First off,I met a few acquaintances in 2018 that I don’t think I’d have any trouble forgetting but,there are some that I know will brighten 2019. Proper song Angela for the New Year. Heck of a job on the use of words and puns. You started me off with a smile. Today’s words were of little challenge. Outfit would be my choice for hardest word. It took an extra minute when I actually yelled it out like I won a prize or something. The cartoon answer was another winner from the guys. The cartoon reminds me of a “For Better or For Worse” strip, where Elly got in a zone and stayed up all night wallpapering the rooms, only to have son Michael come in in the morning and say “Don’t flowers usually grow pointing UP?” 😱

Living in the Central time zone we toasted in 2019 twice,once on NY ( my wife’s home state)time, then on Chicago’s central time.As a result it was a later than usual get up time this morning.Fortunately all 4 words,even outfit,were an instant solve as was the final solution.Go Buckeyes in this afternoon’s Rose Bowl.
