Hello, Jumble friends! As promised, David has posted an amazing video answering all of the questions that you submitted last month. A very special thank you to both David and Colin for giving us the most in-depth interview about the Jumble that has ever been produced.     The embarrassment of riches of 37 minutes of Jumble info would be a real nap-buster right now, but I’m really looking forward to watching this later. Thanks again!

    • I had to wait until all my chores were done this morning before I could watch it without interruption. Please watch it in it’s entirety as there’s some timely information. That’s all I’ll say! 🤐

  2. Totally entertaining, from start to finish. Not your run of the miil interview; what we received instead was a tour of the cities of Germany, interspersed with beautiful countryside seen through the windows of a moving train. How amazing is that? Colin’s filming was a delight! And David’s in depth answers were not only informative and clever, he injected a bit of comic whimsy here and there…how refreshing! I give it 5 Stars, and can’t wait for the sequel.
    Bravo, David, Bravo! 🙋🏻

  3. The video response was very informative and well done. Kudos to you, Mike, for pushing this project forward. David and Collin went above and beyond with the production of the video.

    • I’m really pleased that you enjoyed it, John. I know it’s on the longer side, but David sure has a way with words and kept my attention the entire time.

  4. Mike, David et al – My mind is completely blown. I’m going to have to watch this several more times to remember everything, but thank you! So much more than I expected – I thought Dave would just be sitting at a table answering questions. Just a couple of thoughts:

    Very funny right at the start, as David is talking about his favorite food and the camera is panning around the historic square, the most obvious sign is “Burger King”! 😂

    Very interesting to hear about the beginnings of their Jumble careers. Mike, I thought you were just going to tell me that Dave had found a Peet’s in Düsseldorf! 😂

    What impressed me most was how David’s love of the work he’s doing with Jumble and his other endeavors jumps right out of the screen. It’s so nice to see someone so happy in their work and life that I was grinning from start to finish of his post. Thanks again Mike for making this possible.

    • Great points, Steve. Were you screaming “NEEDLE” when he couldn’t think of the word? I sure was! 😂

      My involvement was having the idea for an interview and getting everyone’s questions. David just went over the top with the rest. I’ve watched it 3 times so far!

          • LOL…”Last week…February 1st, 2018…A date which will live in Infamy…” Ah, shrug it off, Bud. If I had a dollar for every time I “mis-spoke”..I wouldn’t have been out on the ledge Tuesday night!!! 😉-😂 Anyway, you weren’t the only one. Lot of NEEDLES in that Haystack! I’d STICK with you any day! 🙋🏻

      • Hey John – When I took public transportation to work, the streetcar would go right by a restaurant named “BurgerMeister.” That would have been more appropriate here! 😂

  5. One other thing I liked was that David actually noted Jeff’s joke question and acknowledged the humor in it, but then went on to give a respectful, serious and interesting answer. Much appreciated!

  7. Totally enjoyed David’s interview. I truly am amazed at the skill with which he & Jeff put together these puzzles day after day. I do remember that pesky “Needle” puzzle though I didn’t come up with “Lendee”. Would love to see an interview with Jeff as well. Thanks so much for arranging this interesting & educational opportunity for us, Mike.

      • Boston! For sure. I grew up in Connecticut. I am a huge Red Sox fan. I do get to Boston quite a bit. One of my favorite stays in Boston was about four years ago. We rented (Airbnb) a houseboat on Boston Harbor and then went to see Tom Petty in Fenway Park. Great trip.
