NGYIAR = GRAINY

Good Morning, Everyone!       🌾Here WHEAT Go Again..🌾

🎶Just WHEAT it, WHEAT it, WHEAT it, WHEAT it…No one wants to be defeated. Showin’ how funky and strong is your fight…It doesn’t matter who’s wrong or right…Just WHEAT it, WHEAT it..WHEAT it, WHEAT it…Just WHEAT it…🎶

📸🌾 I can’t believe it’s happening, but look at where we are
We’re back on that old farm land, with Wheat Fields near and far,
The couple’s not too JOVIAL, cause pics they took won’t take
A Polaroid camera’s in use..and FOGGY pics it makes…
That camera you know it won’t do, it’s been too many years
Is film even available? Where Target? Maybe Sears?
I saw one being RAFFLEd once, at some kind of event
But it’s now been so long ago, the thoughts not but a dent.
Oh, maybe I should get my head back to the farm at hand…
As Farmer Brown tries really hard to snap his plot of land.
If I had TWINE, I’d tie this up…how’s that for a segue?
It also helps me use the word..the last one for today.
So all this Wheat, there’s so much here, as far as we can see
But capturing the Whole of it?…It’s nothing but GRAINY! 🌾📸

So, Monday words. WHEAT do we think? Seen them before, but the anagrams are really good, to say the YEAST…Nice BLEND. OK, our cartoon. You can BARLEY see a thing here today, except a lot of Green. PICTURE this: It’s a Wheat Field. On a farm…Seriously, Guys? RYE are we back on the farm? You really should come GREEN and let us know. This WHOLE thing is just OAT of control…Can we expect this to continue? I SHUTTER at the thought…Anyway, there’s not much going on here. He tells her that he can’t make the pictures out, because of his old Camera. She offers to use her phone Camera. Can you see what’s DEVELOPING here…? Tout Wheat? His pictures are too GRAINY! Oh SNAP! No, they didn’t! Good pun, Dave. You ZOOMED right in on that one! Just what we KNEADED. Ok, eye candy. I’m just going to go with the old Polaroid…since it INSTANTly caught my eye…

So, There you have it Folks, Done. Have a great day, Everyone!

And remember..If you stand in the pouring GRAIN, you’re definitely going to get all WHEAT…🌾📸 🙋🏻

  1. After the RAFFLE, the JOVIAL winner got lost in the FOGGY miasma of a cemetery but ignited a ball of TWINE and found his way to safety..
Blind solve this Monday morning and that’s clearly a great way to begin the week.
If the farmer had used a Kodak camera he might have had a clearer picture but then a different pun would be needed. Perhaps this will prompt Angela to post the lyrics of a Simon and Garfunkel song that I favor.
Off to volunteer for the day, so I’ll check in later.

    • Good Morning, Earl. Great sentence. Miasma, I love the word….Easy, breezy puzzle today. And here, for your listening pleasure:…KODACHROME…Enjoy! Have a good one, Earl.

🎶🎶When I think back on all the crap I learned in high school, It’s a wonder I can think at all
And though my lack of education hasn’t hurt me none…I can read the writing on the wall
Kodachrome..They give us those nice bright colors, they give us the greens of summers,
Makes you think all the world’s a sunny day….I got a Nikon camera I love to take a photograph
So mama don’t take my Kodachrome away…Mama don’t take my Kodachrome, Mama don’t take my Kodachrome, Mama don’t take my Kodachrome away…🎶🎶 📸 🙋🏻

      • Our granddaughter has 1 of my old Polaroid cameras and got film online, where you can usually find anything.

        • Good Morning, Chuck. How’re you doing? How’d you do with today’s puzzle?
I was just going for the rhyme with the film comment, but you’re right about the online purchasing. I have an old Polaroid up in the attic too. It must be at YEAST 10 years since I’ve opened that box. But now you’re painting me a PICTURE..l may just go take a look. RYE not, right? Hope you have a great day! Take care! 📸🙋🏻

  2. Really easy Monday. Angela, very funny twist on Jackson song. I also thought of Kodachrome for Earl.

When I open my email from Jumble Answer, I don’t see the calendar box or blog stats. If I go backwards to 1/5, I also don’t see In Other Words. But if I go directly to jumbleanswer.com, I do see the calendar, stats, and IOW at the bottom of 1/5. Lelia wrote that she couldn’t find IOW, so she may have had the same problem.

    • Good morning, Caroline. Agree, extremely easy one today. I thought of the song too, but I’m always shy to use brand names here on the blog. But, I just did for Earl. Let’s hope “they” don’t come after me! 😂 And thank you for the shout out.
Far as I can see, the calendar hasn’t shown since Mike did the new layout. I was looking for it also. I think the format shows up differently for everyone. I wish I knew more. I know it has something to do with the settings, but I’m at a loss myself at times. I utilize the admin settings to navigate, and I too experience problems here and there. I think it’s the inner workings of Word Press, but no matter how much I read through this, I still end up SMH! Hopefully Mike will check in, and be able to shed more light on it. I’m sorry I can’t offer a solution.
Glad you’re here regardless, and I hope it doesn’t put a damper on your day. 📸🙋🏻

      • I thought of that song and commented before reading Earl’s post. Kodak said this year it might revive that film, sometimes described as GRAINY, but then backed off. Good to keep in mind what you said about brand names.

        • Caroline, so funny! I was just starting to post to you, and here you are!
I went into the site the way you mentioned, and I found the data you’re speaking of at the bottom of 01/07 instead of 01/05. This web site confuses the day lights out of me! IDK what to think….
See that? Three of us with the exact same mind set early in the morning! Scary, huh? I feel sorry for anyone who starts thinking like me! 😂😂
Yes, the brand name thing is an iffy subject. Like the other day with the Gecko. IDK, it may not be an issue, but I’d rather err on the side of caution. As it is, I’m always putting my size 8 in my mouth…! RYE tempt fate any further?!! 😂🙋🏻

  3. Good morning. Agree that today was a typical Monday puzzle. Both ends were a first look read. Nice job Angela on the intro. I answered yesterday’s comment about the V8 which I thought was hilarious but I do not see it. Anyway, thanks for the laughs. Until tomorrow stay well.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Yep, piece of cake this morning…Or perhaps a GRAIN pie would paint a better PICTURE! Thank you very much. 🎶Beat It🎶 was never a big favorite of mine, but it just popped into my head the minute I read WHEAT. Then it got so inGRAINed in my mind, I had to pull up some Beatles…Because after an hour of BEAT IT going thru my head at 5 in the morning, I was about to do just that!
Paul, I just searched through the entire contents of the Spam and Pending folders of the site, and I don’t see your comment anywhere either. Sometimes, if you don’t hit the post button just right, it doesn’t catch. It’s happened to others before. But I’m always happy to give you a laugh, and I’m glad you enjoyed the reference. Personally, I can BARLEY get through a day without going to the V8 thing…An indentation seems to be DEVELOPING on my forehead…
Always a pleasure, Brooklyn. Hope you have a great day! 📸🙋🏻

  4. A half blind solve this morning, since grainy did not come to me until I solved the first two CWs! Plowed through the four of them quickly!

    • Good Morning, John…GRAINY. Couldn’t atTRACTOR, huh? But you PLOWED through just the same…
Good one! 👏🏻 Have a great day! 📸🙋🏻

  5. Hi all – The good pun appeared first, but I had to figure out that R was the first letter before I could see RAFFLE.

Ohhh, GUESS WHO just sold his WHEATFIELD SOUL for a shiny new camera-smartphone thingy. Jumble Masters, what an insult. That classic instant camera not GOOD enough for ya whippersnappers, eh? It’s enough to give old Cantabridgians, upstate New Yorkers, Rochester natives and former Kodak workers a bad case of Polar-ROID RAGE!! (since Kodak also produced instant film and cameras, I think.)

Oh Earl, I hope you get out of that miasma-filled cemetery without tripping and falling into a poisonous ensilage or meeting up with Roger Williams. What a cheery image for a Monday morning! 😂😂

    • Hi, Steve! Your telling me I gave you a good laugh made me smile, and thank you for telling me your wife recovered from 91 lbs which gives me renewed hope to do the same. I’m setting the game to tape tomorrow nite.

Pun joke: It is not easy to explain a pun to a kleptomaniac because they take things literally.

      • Hi, all! Finished the easy Monday Jumble before Jerry finished scrambling my egg.

I have already told you my heart rending story about the wonderful neighbors of my wheat farming Uncle in Washington state coming to his rescue when he was ill by arriving together on their combines and harvesting all of his wheat in one day.

My aunt said that upon hearing the noise, she looked out and saw combines coming up over every hill around their farmhouse. That still brings happy-tears of joy to me.

        • Hi Lelia. Today’s puzzle may just be one of the easiest ever….We definitely KNEAD more of a challenge! Have a good one! 🙋🏻

    • Ah, copse of trees..Compared to growing up in Brooklyn… COPS, killing…That “Tree” that grew…Totally different meaning…😉
Nice showing against Northwestern y’day, Harry. Real nice. Outrageous defense.Mr Miller, take a bow. Have a good one, Hoosier. 🙋🏻
