🎅🏻🎅🏻 So, The Day before Christmas, here in Jumble Land
And we’re given “The Workshop“. Oh, isn’t it grand?
We can see Santa smiling, and his Elves happy too
‘Cause the toys they are readying for me and for you.
Know for sure I am still one of those who believe,
‘Cause if not, than pajamas is what I’d receive!
And I’d rather have jewelry, and maybe a fur
So, Oh yes, I believe. Santa? Count on this her!
And our cartoon today is lots more than it seems…

Christmas! What a wonderful word! And Dave’s DELIVERED some wonderful words here today! Right from the top, I couldn’t DASH past that HYPHEN. I was BLINKIN’ that’s for sure. (Yes, I know ‘BLINKIN isn’t one of the Original Reindeers, but if you look real closely at the cartoon, there he is, way in the background). The rest of the words I PRANCERed right through! Ok, our cartoon! Santa’s Workshop! There’s two little ELVES, Chris and Eve, showing Santa a toy motorbike that they’ve finished. And they’re so proud of their work. As well they should be! They did a WHEELy good job! It’s Golden! No, really it’s a Golden Motorbike...For those of you who can’t see this in color…And of course, he’s proud of them…Let’s face it, Folks, he’s a sELF made man! Anyway, I’m surprised to see that workshop’s pretty bare, there’s no tree. You’d think they’d have one, you know to SPRUCE up the place, but no. We just see the motorbike, and a workbench. It’s a NICE bench. Wonder if it’s knotty pine, and maybe that’s where they make the toys for the KNOTTY children…Just Sayin’. Ok, so Chris  and Eve are probably looking to clean up, and get ready to leave, maybe for Church. If you listen closely, you can almost hear someone calling out to them…”CHRIS?…MASS! EVE….“? 🎶 Do you hear what I hear?🎶 No? Hmm…Anyway, as I said earlier, the ELVES are very proud of themsELVES. And Santa sees their…HIGH “ELF” ESTEEM! Well, knock me down, and hold on for DEER LIFE! Now THAT’S a pun! Dave, you just SLEIGH me! So, the eye candy. I’m going with the Reindeer in the back, in the middle. The one who’s BLINKIN’. Trust me, he’s BLINKIN’! Jeff, you’re a GIFT! 
So, There you have it, Folks! Done!
Have a great Christmas Eve, Everyone! And I hope Santa graces you all with his PRESENTS! 🎅🏻🙋🏻

PS: After I hit this to publish, I realized that I mistakenly didn’t include today’s words in my poem! It’s the Christmas fatigue! (And we didn’t even start eating yet)!  I’m running to Mass..(Maybe I’ll see Chris and Eve)! and when I get back, I’ll DASHER off for you all.  It’s a little chilly out..I just hope there’s no RAIN DEER…See you in a bit! 🎅🏻🙋🏻

So STUFFY doesn’t work here, nothing STUFFY ’bout today
And HYPHEN’s not looking too good, maybe another day…
Yes, I know that I’m deflecting. Yes I want to get it done…

  4. When more than one HYPHEN appeared in his GLOSSY magazine, the STUFFY editor EMERGED from his office and told his staff they would pay DEARLY if they did not HINDER future usage of the use of a punctuation mark he despised.
    Five clue words were instant solves. First word—HYPHEN–did not come immediately and it took me several written efforts to get it–two Hs and one vowel, plus a Y were unusual, I believe.
    As for the solution? I gave up after looking at the letters, the cartoon and the dreaded quotation marks. Not too proud to admit defeat—also just did not want this preying on my mind all day long.

  5. I thought elf would be the word in quotes but was stumped on the rest of the answer until I looked for gh and ght words and found high. Wishing all who celebrate Christmas a very merry one.

  6. Hi all – My first guess was “Good Elf Smiles.” So much for that. With the letters, it had to be ELF, then HIGH was the four letter word, and ESTEEM showed up. Needed the answer to get DEARLY for some reason (should have been DEERLY today anyway.)

    Angela, Down in Jumble Land, that’s Springsteen, right? Well, he did do “Santa Clause is Coming to Town.” And your lyric was the first thing I thought of when you exclaimed “Santa Baby” to Mike’s picture last week (of course.)
    I also saw that cute reindeer way over DONDER. Not DONNER; he’s in another party. And don’t ask about BLITZEN. Santa said to skip the Christmas cookies because he’ll be riding him back here for brownies next week.

One threw in the towel..upstairs asleep…One other threw in..I guess we’d call it a washcloth? .😂😂Nodded out 1/2 hr ago..but on the couch..still in the game! Few going to Midnight Mass…Poker game going on…Flexing for the gift opening. Some heavy lifting involved…Endurance…I could use toothpicks for my eyes, but the cappuccino machine is in full gear…I don’t think I’m eating anymore…well maybe just the Zeppoles…you know 😂 Tradition!
