SNGMOHCOTEAL – – – MAGNET SCHOOL

Good Morning, Everyone! MAGNETIC ATTRACTION…PULLED ME RIGHT IN!

🎢”I take 2 steps forward, I take 2 steps back…We come together…Cuz opposites attract. And you know, it ain’t fiction, just a natural fact, We come together…Cuz opposites attract…”🎢
Opposite ATTRACTION …Exciting, mysterious, alluring. The Ying and Yang…Like a moth to a flame, Opposite Attraction is a POWERful thing. That MAGNETIC force that pulls us in, that…Oh, wait…This really isn’t about THAT is it? It’s about MAGNET SCHOOLS, (she says WEAKLY)… Oh, ok. Let me rethink this, before the wrong thing comes out of my MOUTH. School, hmm. Not really my FIELD. I was so POSITIVE that I’d be going in another DIRECTIONIRONic, isn’t it? I was all ready to talk about men and women, and instead I got boys and girls! Ok then, time FERROUS to get to AU words: Nothing POLARIZING with them today, I GAUSS because we’ve seen them before. Our cartoon shows us a classroom in an ELEMENTary school…The RESONANCE called a MAGNET school is because it “DRAWs” students across natural boundaries and teaches specialized courses. They’re no more COSTLY than average, because they AU public schools. Jeff’s showing us a teacher CONDUCTing a class about the MAGNETICΒ ATTRACTION of certain METALS, and you can see by the excited looks on the kids faces, that they’re MAGNETIZED by it all…And there’s our solve. Easy, breezy, very well done, Jumble Guys! There’s a lot of controversy regarding MAGNET schools, opinions run POSITIVE and NEGATIVE. But I’m CURIEous…Is this a shout out to the all the ‘Nobel‘ work David Hoyt does with educating children? I’m STEMted to ask…I read an awful lot, so I’llΒ TALCOTT as such. Eye candy? All the wide eyes on these kids. Learning can be fun!

So, I started off a little MISALIGNED with my subject today. For a minute there, I thought it could have SWUNG both ways…but the kids won out. But I’m going on record saying…My original topic? That old Ying and Yang…? Definitely would have ATTRACTED a lot more attention!
Happy Tuesday…Everyone!

PULL out all the stops today! πŸ““ πŸ™‹πŸ»

      • Went to Shop Rite yesterday. Rained overnite. Partly sunny. C.C. pitching tonite. Hope he does as well as last outing.

        • School! School supplies all over the place…Did supermarkets sell school supplies years ago? Can’t find things ’cause so much is moved around for the school supplies! Just venting! Still gloomy and rainy here. Fits my mood! πŸ˜‚ Always liked and respected C. C. A gentleman. Wishing him the best tonight. Came home with a large cappuccino…now to relax for a while! πŸ™‹πŸ»

  1. “At the magnet school”, the pendulum in the lobby SWUNG so WEAKLY that when it hit the custodian in the MOUTH, a COSTLY lawsuit was avoided.
Easy word solve but I had to write out the letters to come up with the solution.
For someone who professes to know little about schools Angela, your post was positively valedictory and you deserve to raise the flag out front!

    • Good morning, Earl, and thank you. You, Sir, have the most amazing imagination! Got the Magnet School in there too! A pendulum! See I saw SWUNG, I immediately thought baseball! Tunnel vision! Wasn’t sure how I’d squeeze it in today! But you manage to go that step further every time! Valedictory? I thank you! I do know about schools, I just wanted so badly to write about a different MAGNET! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Hope you enjoy your day! πŸ““πŸ™‹πŸ»

  2. Good morning. A nice reverseable role. Mondays puzzle on Tuesday, etc. No problem with either the words or puzzle. Looking forward to tomorrow. Till then, stay well.

    • Good morning, Paul. Yes, it was nice and easy today! Enjoy your day! See you tomorrow! πŸ““πŸ™‹πŸ»

  3. Hi all – Instant solve, not much to add.

Angela – FARADAY without much else going on, your CAGE-y references to Gauss and Madame Curie made me smile. I only recently learned that her husband refused to accept his Nobel Prize until her fundamental contributions were appropriately acknowledged and she was added as well – Watta guy! especially in that time and culture.

    • I like FARADAY!
Pierre you go, learning something every day! πŸ˜‚πŸ™‹πŸ»

  4. Steve, I thought about you today!
I liked it so much, I’m going
    To do it again tomorrow!

    • Hi, Mary Jane. Magnet schools are public schools that specialize in certain subjects, and have a smaller number of students per class. If I’m not mistaken, in NY, where I live, the students are chosen through a lottery within the applicants. The smaller classes and more specialized attention seem to provide a “better” education for the students. You can look up “Magnet Schools” on Google, and it will give you a much more in depth description.
