  1. On a WORLD stage the model’s OUTFIT with a TINGE of azure blue set a HIGHER standard for “rite of sway.”
No problems with today’s clue words or the solution. Cartoon led me to the answer without having to write snything down– always love that!

      • tHanky, tHanky, Angela. Didn’t see my typo until I read my post–I learnt to type using all my fingers. Don’t do that on my iPad and often make mistakes.
On another note: love today’s word RIGHT which has two homonyms –rite and write.
Tropical upstate with downpours and some flooding– way too much rain and I’m weighing my options on how to spend the day.πŸ’¦πŸ˜…πŸ’€πŸ‹

        • You’re welcome, Earl. What typo? I just figured that’s the
“S” way you typed it! πŸ˜‚ And you’re RIGHT about right! Material there! Rain here also, so much flooding throughout the country. I feel for these poor people getting hit so hard. πŸ™πŸ». WEIGH in later..Let us know what you decided to do! πŸ’ͺ🏻 πŸ™‹πŸ»

      • I think the typo was “rite” instead of “right” when he typed “rite of sway.” Earl has obviously not picked up the handy trick of blaming autocorrect.

        • Hey Steve. No, I’m pretty sure he meant the “S” on anything. And we have no “Grammer Police” here…πŸ˜€πŸ™‹πŸ»

          • DUH – I should have just continued my nap!
I’m missing everything here. Thanks for the heads-up, and I’ll just keep mine down! πŸ‘

            • LOL…Not RIPping you, Steve, just PULLing your leg! Check above tho, I threw you a CURVE. See if you can SPOT it! πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™‹πŸ»

              • Oh, please, no, I’ve learned my lesson about that.

This should go to “other” words, but “grammer” instead of “grammer”? As in the TV personality?

              • Obviously, you haven’t! LOL…Can’t a person say, “Pulling your leg” without it be taken out of context? That’s wrong! And can’t you see I’m trying to get the GYM puns in here?!! And “Grammer”? In quotes? ….That was the bone I threw you. Either you’re losing your sense of humor, or I just don’t know you anymore! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. πŸ™‹πŸ»

              • And yet another typo – should have been “instead of grammar”.
                I think.

              • Never heard of Jim Grammer until now, so wouldn’t have gotten it.

              • Steve….The Pulling your leg referred to the GYM puns…The Grammer was the play on you correcting Earl….Come on.”What we have here, is a failure to communicate”…! No mas…., ok? πŸ™‹πŸ»

  2. Ok, Show of hands…First word that comes to mind…EXERCISE… Your rights, no? JOG…Your memory? GYM….Belushi? Not that there’s anything wrong with this! I mean we probably all have that TINGE of guilt when it comes to fitness. But let’s face it, we all don’t have the commitment it takes to stick with workout routines, or the bodies we’d like, to wear the OUTFITs! And it could be dangerous…Your heart rate goes HIGHER, you get short of breath, your muscles ache, you break out in sweats..This is HEALTHY? You tell this to your doctor, he’ll tell you to make an appointment! But the WORLD today STRESSes fitness, so we do the best we can. Today’s words…Easy enough, all REPeats, no SWEAT. Our cartoon. Now here, we stop and think. I mean, neither one of these guys are giving Rocky a RUN for his money, but SQUATever else you may say, at least they’re trying. The solution was easy enough, seeing the SCALE for WEIGH, and the dialogue, “After you”, and “First”, giving us the RIGHT OF. A PUSH over solve! So, the eye candy. I can’t help it, I’m fixated on that drop of water on the THIN guys head. It just made me SIT UP and take notice. Is he intimidated and it’s SWEAT, was he WORKING OUT too hard and it’s SWEAT, or is his hair just wet from the shower? Maybe it’s just diddly SQUAT…Anyway, once aGAIN, great puzzle. Makes you realize that DIET stands for..”Did I Eat That”!!!
Hoping Everyone has an ABSolutely great day! πŸ’ͺ🏻 πŸ™‹πŸ»

        • Hi Moose. Sorry, but it keeps coming up Anonymous. NEW YAWK in the house! I enjoy your puns, keep ’em coming! πŸ™‹πŸ»

  3. Hi, Mike et al!! Easy puzzle all the β€œweigh” around.
Steve, thank you for thanking me for thanking you for what you said to me.
Mike, I am hoping that all is well with you and your family.
    Happy Friday, all!!

    • “After you, Alphonse.”
      “No, after you…”
You’re very welcome welcome welcome welcome…
      Have a great weekend!

  4. Hi All –
I had to back into outfit and needed my pen to figure it out. Jumble Answer stopped going into my junk mail. Record-breaking rainfall in Buffalo yesterday in under three hours.

    • Hey Caroline. Now mine’s going into Junk mail! Word PRESS needs to SET the BAR a little HIGHER, RIGHT? Prayers πŸ™πŸ» that this rain comes to an end… πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™‹πŸ»

      • Hi Angela – I don’t understand why it’s going into your junk mail now. I’m just glad Mike got rid of those ads.

        • Hi 🎢Sweet Caroline🎢 I think we each take chance apiece. Is that the correct phrase? I haven’t said that in a long time! LOL. It seems to happen to a lot of us. Most likely something amiss with Word Press. And yes, the ads were getting bad. I feel badly that Mike ended up having to spend money to correct it, but he didn’t want us to be “harassed”. Here’s to Mike! 🍷 LOL…Glad to hear from you. Hope all is well. πŸ™‹πŸ»

        • LOL..I dont know what part of the grey matter that came out of! Scared myself there for a second! LOL… I can’t even remember the last time I heard it, but I think I remember my Mother and Grandmother saying it. I have to ask my cousins if this is something we were told growing up. There were so many of us, I guess we had a “chance apiece” at things…I like it too! ..(again)!! Take care. πŸ™‹πŸ»

    • Thank you…You’re very welcome. You know, anytime you’re in a PECdicament, you can count in me to have your back! πŸ˜€ BIsides, I enjoy it!
      Time….? We’ll talk. πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™‹πŸ»

  5. First time ever for me. I looked at Friday’s puzzle and I knew the answer at once. I was on cloud nine all morning and couldn’t share it with anyone but you. It was a great post

    • Welcome, First Timer! And, thank you! You sound PUMPed! It’s great to sCORE, isn’t it? Please come back aGAIN. Maybe consider telling us your name, so you’ll be a true CARDIO carrying member of Mike’s Jumble lovers! Enjoy! πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™‹πŸ»

  6. Steve– no the typo was snything instead of anything. And in the sentence I meant ” rite of sway” with a feeble attempt at humor playing on the “right of weigh” from the solution but referencing the way skirts might sway on the runway. I guess I should leave some things to Angela!😩 ( and before I proofed this post, “things” came out “thongs”– glad I read it!!
And Angela It cleared up enough for me to ride my bike along the canal. I only had to scurry for cover twice!πŸ’¦β˜”οΈ

    • Thanks for the clarification and explanation, Earl! I’m sure glad I turned in my technical-writer and proofreader badge a looooong time ago! πŸ˜πŸ‘

      • It’s called Poetic License! We CUT corners…We’re all GLUTE-ens for punishment! πŸ˜‚πŸ™‹πŸ»

    • Earl, No explanation necessary. I understood exactly what you meant. BIsides, Steve doesn’t wear skirts, we women do! (Unless there’s something PECuliar we don’t know)??!!! You can SWING and SWAY with Sammy Kaye, as far as I’m concerned. The thongs? Do I susPECt a Fruedian SLIP??!! πŸ˜‚ No respite from the rain here…And it’s a bit chilly too…CUTs RITE πŸ˜‰ through you….Hope you’re enjoying your day! πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ™‹πŸ»
