CATHL = LATCH
CAWTH = WATCH
LELNOY = LONELY
AYEWEL = LEEWAY
CARTOON ANSWER:
LAWATLOLLW = WALL TO WALL
Happy Saturday morning my friends! LEEWAY would be my guess for the most difficult anagram to decipher. I didn’t have any trouble with this puzzle at all. Have a great Saturday and I’ll see you tomorrow! 😀
Another great jumble. So obvious yet elusive. Good job. LEEWAY was didiiicult
You were right yesterday when you said today would be easy. The last word had me and I went to the cartoon. After a minute the answer came and I knew I needed a “W” and “L” and then leeway fell into place. Less than ten minutes the most. Next stop “I won’t say it” Sunday.
Best of luck tomorrow, Paul! 👍🏻
Looked at the puzzle, got the answer and yes leeway was the only thing that caused a little trouble. Have a great weekend everyone.
You were right yesterday when you said today would be easy. The last word had me stumped for awhile so I solved the cartoon and knew what letters I needed. Had the whole thing in ten minutes. Looking forward to Sunday. Until tomorrow.
Lonely took me a little bit. It had puzzle in about 3 min.
Puzzle was solved immediately as well as latch and watch. Thought I was off to a sub 1 minute solve! Lonely and leeway took me the balance of the 4:13 solve time.
I notice that you put the letters for the clue as they appear. I separate vowels, then consonants. Anyone else do that? Here comes the storm on Salisbury.
Hi Sue! I have never done that. If I can’t get the answer with the letter layout, then I jumble all the letters and try again.
I put mine in a circle.
Great technique!
We’re getting 3-6 inches here in NH this afternoon. Looks like 2 inches has fallen already and the storm is supposed to last until 1am.
I also separate the vowels and consonants. Words and answer very easy today.
If I don’t see the answer in a short time, I also separate vowels & consonants – helps a lot with a more difficult puzzle.
